With a rich background in fashion and visual merchandising, Lou has never liked being put in a box. That is exactly why her brand, adorn & co, is not just about balloon decor. It is about completely transforming ordinary rooms into immersive, memorable experiences.
Her artistic style has been a beautiful evolution. Early on, she focused on making setups look “full” and impressive. Today, her designs are highly refined, focusing deeply on movement, texture, and the clever use of negative space.
Lou’s ultimate goal is simple but powerful: she wants clients to walk into a venue, stop in their tracks, and say, “I have never seen balloons like this before.”
Through her community project, Balloon Posse, she also brings artists together to share ideas and push the entire industry forward.

GET TO KNOW THE ARTIST
Her Artistic Voice: Playful, Textural, Unexpected.
The Creative Spark: She rarely looks at other balloon setups for inspiration. Instead, she lives on Pinterest, studying fashion, packaging design, nature, and interior color palettes.
The Process: Every complex installation starts with one thing: the color story. Once the colors are nailed down, she is a true “go with the flow” artist who prefers a loose plan with plenty of room to pivot.
Color Obsessions: She absolutely loves greens like Olive and Pistachio, as well as soft dual-tone Salmon.
Unexpected Pairings: She thrives on combinations that sound strange at first but look incredible in real life, like mustard with lilac, peach with mocha, or burgundy and pale blue combo.
Must-Have Kalisan Kit: Retro White, Retro Storm, and Pink Blush are her absolute staples.
Best Advice: “Do not try to copy, try to experiment.” She deeply believes that getting things wrong and testing new shapes is the only way to develop a style that outlasts fleeting trends.
